Mary Ann Tighe has been responsible for more than 110.6 million square feet of commercial transactions, and her deals have anchored more than 14.4 million square feet of new construction in the New York region—a tally believed to be a record in commercial brokerage.

Since 2002, Tighe has been CEO of CBRE’s New York Tri-State Region, a region of 3,800 employees. Under her leadership, CBRE has become a leader in market share, revenue and margins.

Among the many transactions she completed in 2020, one of the most difficult years for commercial real estate in recent memory was her landlord representation at 55 Water St. for Justworks. The 270,000-square-foot lease was a significant vote of confidence for the Downtown market, and a similar vote was cast for Midtown Manhattan with the Rockefeller Foundation’s 74,000-square-foot lease at 245 Park Ave., in which she represented the tenant.
