In the Boston region, Newmark’s Boston Capital Markets Group led by Robert Griffin captured 57% market share of brokered office trades in 2020, according to published reports.
The team’s closings included all five of the largest transactions completed in Boston proper last year: 245 Summer St. and 60 State St., both located in the city’s Downtown submarket; 601 Congress St. and The Innovation & Design Building, both located in the city’s Seaport District; and 109 Brookline Avenue, located in the Fenway submarket. Notable suburban sales and recapitalizations overseen by Newmark’s Boston Capital Markets Group in 2020 included Reservoir Woods East in Waltham, One Upland Road in Norwood and One Patriots Park in Bedford.
