During his 37-year career, R. Todd Doney, vice chairman at CBRE in Los Angeles, has completed commercial real estate transactions encompassing more than 100 million square feet of office space.

Todd is a pre-eminent broker in the greater Los Angeles area. His success on behalf of tenants, investment clients, and landlords is unparalleled. He has represented major institutional tenants such as, Nestle, Wells Fargo Bank, Dentons US LLP, KPMG, GE/NBC, AT&T, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Southern California Edison, AECOM, Cigna, Northern Trust, BP, and The Walt Disney Company.

During his career, Todd has received numerous real estate awards and accolades. For the past 20 years Todd has consistently ranked in the top 3 percent of the company. In 2006 he was the most successful office broker for the company in the entire U.S. excluding the New York Metropolitan area. In 2009, Todd was recognized as the most successful broker in the Western United States and the ninth most successful broker in the company globally.

In 2020, Todd completed more than 2 million square feet of leasing transactions. Some of the most notable leasing transactions included over 600,000 square feet of leases to a major entertainment company on behalf of Worthe Real Estate and Blackstone. One of those transactions was for 420,000 square feet and represents the largest lease transaction completed in the state of California in 2020. Additionally, Todd represented Stan Kroenke the owner of the Rams and Hollywood Park in the leasing of 290,000 square feet to the NFL Media. In downtown Los Angeles Todd completed one of the largest lease transactions when he represented German pension fund GLL and PNC Bank in the 111,000-square-foot renewal of O'Melveny and Myers headquarters location at 400 South Hope Street.

Todd maintains a high level of community and charitable involvement. He was on the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and chaired the Board Development Committee of the San Gabriel Valley Council of the Boy Scouts of America. In 2008, he was awarded the Silver Beaver Award, the highest Boy Scout honor given to leaders who have made an impact on the lives of youth through service given to the Council. Todd is also on the Advisory Board and Development Committee for the Hathaway-Sycamores and is on the Board of the Metropolitan YMCA. Todd is a member of the Jonathan Club, the Valley Hunt Club, the San Gabriel Country Club, where he served as President in 2000, and the California Club, where he is the current President.
