Native Realty Founder and CEO Jaime Sturgis dubbed 2020 the Super Bowl for real estate brokers, as the pandemic’s unprecedented challenges separated the true dealmakers from pretenders.
His notable 2020 accomplishments included brokering the $2.4 million sale of the Fourth Avenue Church of God property in Fort Lauderdale’s emerging 13th Street neighborhood to Miami developer Eduardo Pelaez, who plans a creative adaptive re-use project that Sturgis is exclusively leasing.
Sturgis also finalized a lease with restaurant and bar operator David Cardaci for the entire ground floor of a historic Flagler Village church building for Cardacci’s planned restaurant/entertainment venue called The Sanctuary.
In 2020, Sturgis also expanded his firm with the launch of property management arm Native Management. By generating the same transaction output in 2020 as previous years, Sturgis cemented his position as one of South Florida’s top brokers.
