Greg Bockart is executive managing director and market lead for Savills’ Detroit office. He represents a wide variety of clients spanning both the office and industrial sectors. In 2020, Bockart executed lease transactions on behalf of his clients of approximately 522,376 square feet with a value exceeding $80 million.

One of the largest transactions in the market, the restructuring of an existing 103,318-square-foot lease on behalf of Urban Science, was negotiated by Bockart. In addition to leasing activity, he had six building sales for a total of $23,650,641.

Adding portfolio accounts to the Detroit office was one of Bockart’s main goals and he confirmed major account wins including being named the global real estate advisor for two of the largest tier-one automotive suppliers. The new accounts were signed in 2020 and consist of 50 and 160 locations worldwide, respectively. In addition to advisory services, Bockart completed two substantial lease transactions for one of the companies totaling over 190,000 square feet.
