MFI Realty’s Evan Albert managed to have a strong year despite a historically difficult 2020 for retail leasing caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. In total, Albert closed 59,294 square feet of leases across 14 transactions.
Of note, Albert inked several leases that were started after the government shutdowns. Significant leases for Albert and his team included Curaleaf at Snowden Crossing, Surplus Freight at Amelon Square and BurgerFi at Dobbin Station.
Albert was able to secure desirable locations for his clients and also helped a landlord navigate complex issues when leasing a space to a medical cannabis tenant.
