Henry Mathies co-leads the East Coast Affordable Housing Investment Sales Practice at Greysteel, providing services to clients throughout the East Coast region. Mathies leads the D.C.-based team and is responsible for arranging sales and financing for institutional, middle market and private client multifamily properties with a primary emphasis in the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and Project-Based Subsidy sector.

In 2020, Mathies closed $265 million in deals across seven transactions.

Since joining Greysteel in late 2017, Mathies has been instrumental in the growth of the Affordable Housing Practice and has transacted $300 million in total sales volume. Most recently, Mathies closed a 220-unit Affordable Housing property in Newark, DE. The Property sold for $24.7 million.
